Biography David Joel

Chicago based location photographer David Joel has been creating
photographs professionally for 20 years. His national corporate clients
include Baxter International, US Gypsum, Atlas Van Lines, Sara Lee,
American National Can, ITW, IBM, and many other Fortune 500 companies.
Non-profit clients include numerous hospitals, foundations, universities,
and charities. He travels extensively nationally and internationally,
creating annual reports, marketing brochures, image pieces, and advertising.

David has been a teacher and a consultant on visual, photographic
and web design topics.He also has developed a vocabulary and grammar
of "visual literacy" designed to be taught at the university level. He is a
graduate in anthropology from the University of Chicago.
